A Blessing to Us All

Eric, Eric, Eric...what a phenomenal blessing to us all!! All praises to the glory of God. What a labor of love...with every click...I am really speechless (rare :-). But WOW!!!

I'm so glad that you shared Grandma's been speaking to you too. Our connection is marvelous. "Our" website is an empowering tool on so many levels - thank you thank thank you!

Phenomenal

Oh my, this is PHENOMENAL.

I am blown away by the detail of it and the commentaries. You are SO right, we've got to have a complete story.

I thumbed around. I think the site is very easy to navigate. When you do "release" it, could you also provide some direction about how to clarify details, provide updates, etc....

I'm so excited about this.

Nicole.

We Are Family!

I am the 1st cousin twice removed of Lue Ella Short-Williams and became aware of this web site after receiving an e-mail from my cousin Eric J. Williams, the great- grandson of Lue Ella Short-Williams. The presentation is flawless, a true work of art. I look forward to many visits to this site and the exchange of information between our families. I also wish to extend a warm welcome to all members of the Williams-Rivers Family to visit other decedents of Silla Short, Lue Ella's grandmother, my great-great grandmother. To borrow the song title of a song from "back in the day," "WE ARE FAMILY", a proud black family. Let the world take notice!!!!

Something Powerful...

Hi Eric!
This is your cousin Greg in Memphis. Just wanted to commend you on the great work you've taken up with the families web-site; it is truly something powerful to behold and it stirs up a tremendous amount of pride to know that your families history is at your fingertips. I actually tell others about the site and log on daily myself.

Fantastic Job!

Discovered your website through AfriGeneas. You have done a fantastic job! My TN research is in Fayette and Tipton Counties, so Haywood Co. caught my eye.

Quite a suprise to find a friend on your family tree - Bunice Carr!

Motivating

I also discovered this website through AfriGeneas and you have done a phenomenal job. The detail is extraordinary and has truly motivated me to continue my search!

Uplifting

How truly uplifting it was when I learned of your site. Family is one of the greatest rewards we receive in our lives. Let us continue to grow. I am the granddaughter of Orange Short, whose sister Alice Short married Wash Williams. His uncle Henry Short married Louise Miller. I look forward to learning more about our family. Keep us the good work!!

Family Pride

I am thankful that my family continues to pass down our oral history because I know where my family comes from and I am proud of my ancestors and what they endured.

The Memory Lives On

I just read the family history you put online. Thank you. It's been a while since I've read it and I love the updated commentary. Though it's been 60 years since Papa Dennis Williams passed on July 12, 1947, and you nor I knew him personally, his legacy continues as with all our other ancestors.

Peace & Love,
Ekpe
